It is intricately handmade from butted 1,3mm mild steel rings, each with a diameter of approximately 10 mm. It is this feature of being butted that makes it affordable and hence, popular in LARP, Renaissance fairs, and other medieval events. It has a total length of about 50 cm and is ideal for head circumference ranging from 55-65cm. Weighs about 2,2kg grams.
It's galvanized, so very well protected against rust.
